Two Victorian Lace Trimmed Scarves with Provenace

Here are two very dainty and feminine lace pieces that come with cards identifying who they belonged to and an age range -

Very nice Victorian scarf or lappet made of a fine tulle with floral lace deisign on each end. This piece comes with a card that says on one side - 'Real Duchess Lace from Father's cousin Clara Peart, Danvers Mass. 1830-1900' and on the other side - 'Hong Kong Lace Grandmother Phelp's brother Captain Rankin of Thomaston Maine, a sea captain, brought this from China'

Handmade scarf of a fine sheer cotton. It has very pretty lacey edges. Each end has a section of pleated cotton, surrounded by lace. Comes with card that says 'Real Thread Lace. Belonged to Aunt Minnie Harriet Edwina Phelps 1840-1916'

These two items are available for purchase at the  Dandelion Vintage Victorian and Edwardian Department
